When does contract injection moulding help?

Some of our clients don't need a new injection mould designed — they already own a tool and are looking for a facility to start injection moulding production on it. This is a distinct way of working from building a mould from scratch, which is why we describe it separately here.

  • A client switches injection suppliers and moves their own mould to a new facility
  • The previous moulding facility closes down or has no free production capacity
  • A company owns a mould and outsources production instead of investing in its own machine fleet
  • A company needs a second, backup subcontractor for supply continuity

How we onboard your mould for production

Every mould entrusted to us goes through a free technical review before we schedule the first injection trials. We check:

  • Mould mounting dimensions against our Engel machines (25–250T)
  • Condition of the forming cavities and cooling system
  • Gate type — cold runner or hot runner
  • Compatibility with our tooling (ejectors, cooling connectors)
  • Mould service history, if available

After a positive review we run injection trials and start serial production — typically within 5 business days of receiving a mould in good working order. If minor repairs are needed, our own toolroom with EDM handles it in-house, without sending the mould to an external service.

Throughout the collaboration, your mould is stored under controlled warehouse conditions at our Gdańsk facility, protected against corrosion and mechanical damage.

For every industry — one condition: mould compatibility

We handle contract injection moulding regardless of the client's industry — automotive, household appliances, electronics or other applications. The only condition: the mould must be technically compatible with our Engel machine fleet (25–250T) and tooling.

You can find more about the moulding process itself, our machine fleet and processed materials on the plastic injection moulding page.

Frequently asked questions

I already have an injection mould — can you produce parts on it?

Yes, we offer injection moulding services on customer-supplied moulds. We start with a free technical review — checking mounting dimensions against our Engel 25–250T machines and cavity condition. After a positive review we start production, typically within 5 business days.

How does mould transport and receiving work?

The client can deliver the mould via their own transport or a courier/freight forwarder — we advise on protection during transit. On receipt we confirm the mould condition with a handover report and carry out a technical inspection before the first injection trials.

What if the mould needs minor repair or maintenance?

We have our own toolroom and EDM station, so minor cavity repairs, cleaning and maintenance are done in-house without sending the mould to an external service. Larger repairs are quoted separately before production starts.

Do you take on production regardless of the client's industry?

Yes. We run injection moulding regardless of the client's industry, provided the mould is technically compatible with our machine fleet (25–250T) and tooling.

Is the client's mould stored safely between orders?

Yes, moulds entrusted to us are stored under controlled warehouse conditions at our Gdańsk facility, protected against corrosion and mechanical damage.
